Questions EMS engineers actually ask

Do I need brushing AND a sticky roller?
Brush+vacuum handles bulk particulate; the electrostatic roller catches the fine film that causes coating fish-eyes. For printing, the combo is standard; for coating, the roller is non-negotiable.
Ultrasonic vs spray for leadframes?
Blind holes, micro-vias and odd geometry: ultrasonic cavitation (40 kHz). Open surfaces: spray economics win. SMM-1100 can run both in sequence.
What about plasma?
S1000 plasma units are for surface activation before bonding/coating — a dry alternative where moisture is the enemy.
