S-1688 Pneumatic Stencil & Screen Cleaning Machine

The flagship: a fully pneumatic wash-dry cabinet — no electric power inside the chamber, so it stays safe with flammable screen and stencil chemistry while rotating atomization spray arms and a four-stage filtration loop recycle the cleaning liquid for months.

Most shipped

S-1688 pneumatic

Mixed screens & flammable chemistry

No electricity in the chamber, months-long bath life, 29-inch capacity — the safe default for screen rooms.

SME800 / BC320 electric

Aqueous-standard SMT lines

Heated wash, 1 μm dual filtration, 90 °C monitored drying and conductivity-logged DI rinse for process-control shops.

SME-750II

Volume screen rooms

Two 750 mm stencils per load on pure shop air — the throughput twin.

  • Clamp — the stencil or screen sits flat in the gasketed frame, both faces exposed.
  • Spray — rotating atomizing arms fire at aperture walls; paste release happens in minutes, not scrubbing hours.
  • Recycle — liquid returns through the 10 μm / 5 μm / 1 μm filter ladder — the same bath keeps working.
  • Dry — filtered air leaves foils ready for the printer in minutes.

Installation guide

Ready to run in a normal production day

Typical site preparation for Southern Machinery aqueous cleaning equipment. Exact utilities for each model are in its manual.

Location

Flat floor near printer area; cabinet door side needs operator clearance.

Compressed air

Dry shop air 0.4–0.7 MPa, 400–600 L/min (S-1688 uses two feeds).

Electric (SME800/BC320)

380 VAC 3-phase per rating; earth leakage protection recommended.

Chemistry load

Fill 20–60 L bath to level marks; note agent class (aqueous vs solvent-safe cabinet).

First cycles

Run a dirty production stencil; compare aperture photos before/after.

FAQ

Questions EMS engineers actually ask

Can the S-1688 really run without electricity?
Yes — the wash, filtration and blow-dry cycles are 100% pneumatically driven from shop air. That is why we recommend it wherever flammable screen chemistry is used.
Aqueous or solvent for stencils?
Fine-pitch and paste-only work: aqueous in SME800/BC320. Epoxy, adhesives, red inks and stiff pastes: pneumatic cabinet with compatible solvent. Send the residue; we route the chemistry.
How often do filters and baths change?
S-1688: one filter set ≈ 200+ screens; bath lasts months in recycle mode. Electric units: 1 μm cartridges on both loops, plus DI discharge when conductivity drifts.
Will it clean underside of the foil?
Rotating spray arms atomize through apertures and under the foil; the before/after video shows a fully cleared 0.4 mm pitch stencil.

Send a dirty stencil picture — we will show you it clean.

Mail a stencil photo, size and paste type. You get the platform recommendation (pneumatic vs electric) and running-cost math the same week.
